WELCOME TO THE BRANTFORD CHESS CLUB CELEBRATING OVER 100 YEARS OF CHESS!

The Brantford Chess Club is dedicated to the play and promotion of chess in the Brantford area. Our club meets each Wednesday night at 6:30 pm, beginning January 10, 2024 - June 26, 2024, resuming September 2024 — date to be determined. Our players range in strength from beginner to expert.

The club provides a spacious and comfortable non-smoking playing room. We hold many events throughout the year for club members, in addition to playing games for fun. All equipment is supplied.

Our club is a member of the South West Ontario Chess League. The league organizes the SWOCL Grand Prix with events throughout Southwestern Ontario. We held our annual meeting and elected our executive. Our president and treasurer is Rob Gashgarian and the tournament and website director is Lee Hendon.
